Formation at the Oratory takes place in partnership with neighboring parishes. Catholics who are registered here are able to access the Sacraments through our program at the usual times in accordance with the policy of the Diocese of Bridgeport. All Sacraments celebrated at the Oratory are entered into our own Sacramental Registers.

There are a number of pathways for parents to ensure every child is properly prepared to receive a Sacrament. We are supportive of parents regardless of whether their children are in public school, in our Catholic school system, or homeschooling. Each pathway is tailored to your child’s individual needs.

Adult Formation, for those who are new to the Faith, or who need to complete their Sacraments, is provided on a case-by-case basis. Typically, candidates are invited to join the Rector’s weekly Catechism Class on Saturday evenings, as well as meeting individually with him, and other catechists, to supply whatever formation is needed.
